Fab explain what is analog summing and takes a deeper look at the Dangerous 2-Bus Summing box specifically. The video makes it easy to understand what a summing mixer is and how to set up your session when you have to send your tracks out to a summing box. If you have been Summing curious lately, this a great way to get into the scene.

I must say i have tried everything humanly possible to get my 2bus+ to work in pro tools with no success. surprisingly everything works perfectly in logic pro x. i just dont understand the deal with pro tools. I beleive there is something small that i am over looking. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Hi! nice video. I am still confused how to set up my session for summing, though. I don't quite understand the printing part and why we need an aux before going to the master bus. Any suggestion where I can find info for this? Thanks in advance.

What do I need to connect a Dangerous 2 Bus? Can I just connect it to my Mac computer directly or through my Focusrite Scarlett 18i8i? Thank you.

here you say the connections are HALF-NORMALLED ... and in the HYBID MIX tutorial you have them NORMALLED connected ... It is very confusing

This guy is clueless and only makes things harder. A FireFace 800 should let you sum 26 individual outputs. I do it all the time with Cubase.

Hi Fab Can you do a new video using the new 2bus+ with more details. Mixing any song but only using 2bus+ without any hardware.

I have two Apollo's, linked ,fire wire, so I can have 16 outs. Do I separate the stereo aux/buss ,to two mono, left and right?
Thanks

Hi Fab,
If the Dangerous Master is too pricey, would your recommend any of the of the following: Lynx Hilo, Antelope Pure 2, or the new Dangerous Convert-2 for mastering purposes. I have the Apollo Quad and Grado GS1000i headphones. I absolutely love the new mastering video and have asked few questions from Fiedermann as well.
Kind regards,
Martin

@muratb: It is so the PLC(Plugin Latenct Compensation) will keep your stems up lined nicely. If you don't go through the busses first each stem would be out of time in relation to plugins with different overall latencies on different busses. Going through the busses first lets Logic calculate to make sure all your stems leave your D to A converters at the same time.
