This is the final chapter of 6 Strings and Classic Strings, the pureMix Start To Finish documenting the making of Yvette Young's first work written for strings. In collaboration with Universal Audio, Fab and his team flash-built a full recording studio inside a Brooklyn performance space, running UA Apollo interfaces, and captured an 18-piece string orchestra alongside Yvette's electric guitar — all in a single day. From there, Yvette and Fab moved to Flux Studios to edit the performances and record additional percussion, before Fab mixed the whole thing solo.

In this one-hour livestream, Fab deconstructs that mix: balancing a full string orchestra against electric guitar, building depth and space, and shaping the raw session into a finished piece. He'll break down the why behind each move, then open the floor for a live Q&A.
