Aux tracks in Pro Tools

Sooner or later, when working on a session, you will have to route several tracks to the same Aux track in order to apply general automation and plugins, or create an aux track in order to share effects such as reverbs and delays.
In this video, Ben will show you how to do these two things in an organized way, in Pro Tools.

Ben makes it easy! 5-stars. What did they person giving less than 5-stars expect Ben to mix their track as well?

Hi Ben and Fab. I'vo got a big messy confusion and I don't want to give up.
I am working in pro tools 11 non HD.
I've got all of my audio tracks grouped into sub mixes, and all of my FX aux channels sent to my main stereo output. So whenever I mute all my subs to un-mute one that I want to work on (because that's the easiest way i've worked it out in non hd pro tools) my FX aux will keep sending to the main output all the processed signal of every single track being sent through that bus.
How can I get it right from the beginning?
Thanks in advance

Excellent; straight direct and to the point

Not clear on one thing, though: you put the drums to an aux bus, but then put the snare to a different aux bus for 'verb - how does that work when mixing, for example? If you solo the drum bus, how will you account for the 'verb on the snare?
