The emotional landscape of Bryce Drew's music is brilliantly unsteady, with peaks and valleys ascending from emotive ballads into rhythmic pop anthems that carry the heartbeat of her Trinidadian-American roots. But in her soulful dexterity as an artist, and her innate ability to draw out complex emotions often hidden in the mundane, Bryce Drew shows she has all the elements of an icon in the making.

The artist, Bryce Drew, is the 'Star of the Show,' here. A window onto her creative process reveals the deliberation that defines the arts. A top level performer, and creative earworm songwriter, Bryce developed discrimination through this, apparently her first studio experience, to assert parts to add, and her articulation regarding Greg's mix. You don't know what you don't know until you know. Bryce's learning curve is illuminating. The hype around Greg Wells, is justified. Authentic and erudite, his vernacular casts his explanations in vibes drawn from his experiences, and passions. What a musician, in that he is confident and capable. Working with Bryce, is monitored by his constant analysis of sound, tempo, all the various elements he puts into the song, yet amply peppered with a bedside manner that makes it feel fun and doable. The studio tech at Sunset Sound, shared the trade, his passion, bumps in the road, and his ability to set the stage for the music to be recorded on, record and cue up takes, and his stewardship of the equipment used at Sunset Sound, Prince's favorite studio, although different room. The mastering engineer, Brian, shares his interests throughout mastering Bryce Drew's 'Lucky Number'. I bought the song on iTunes.

Thank You Greg Wells, the mastering engineer, the sunset sound engineer and Brice. Thank you pure mix. This Lucky number start to finish has shown me so many things. Including the advantage of being a multi instrumentalist.

Bryce is absolutely incredible! Greg, a proven force and then the assistant engineer is just very average.. I really hope if I was ever working at Sunset that the engineers would be way more across fault finding, patching, pro tools-ing, pre-empting the producer's needs and just being more on top of everything. That all said, loving this series!

Gregg is my favorite producer because he understand music way deeper than others. He is a multi instrumentalist and plays piano at very high level. His harmony skills are impressive, sometimes he introduce some great chords to the songs. It's great to see him producing, the only thing I would say is about his electric bass joyce, I kind tend to hate rickenbacker basses....anyway....
great series, thanks to everyone involved.

No exercise files? Why not just a simple before and after so we can hear a HD comparison in the DAW?

I had a Larrivee. I still mourn it's loss. Was the best guitar I've ever played

What a depressing ending of an otherwise above average series! If anything, I learned about a few mistakes to avoid them myself. I also listened to the final release on YouTube Music and really feel sorry for Bryce. It was almost there. But the final mastering and some careless edits in her vocal make the final record sound strained and glitchy. For example, at 1:14 the glitch on the word 'close' is an unforgivable mistake and should never have passed critical listening approval. I just started watching and really hope the other series will be of higher quality.

Really wonderful. Greg is a masterful musician and producer/mixer. Bryce has a voice that is ethereal. Learned a ton. KUDOS.

Why does the audio and video keep going out of sync. It’s enough to make me go crazy. I’m on google fiber and it does it on 99% of the videos. If there a fix?
